Transitioning kids can be tricky - okay that is a a bit of an understatement designed to make us all feel better.  Actually it can be just plain frustrating and a potential flash point for both parent and child that can derail the day.  This simple strategy is like a pebble that has passed through many parents hands and has become smoother and more refined as the years have gone on.  I sure hope it is helpful to you and that this pebble fits well in your pocket.
